Path of the Dark Eldar is considered one of the best non-Imperial, non-Chaos POV books but I haven't read them. Mostly recent books representing the modern era of 40k lore with Guilliman back in charge of the Imperium, but there's also Brothers of the Snake which is a classic Abnett novel considered one of the best SM novels ever written, as well as Battle of the Fang which is well liked. Top tier is mostly Imperial Space Marines. A couple weird choices here: Black Legion, Clonelord and Blood Reaver are all the middle installments of their respective trilogies, but they're all good books. The Ciaphas Cain novel is the most recent of a long-running series, but those books don't really follow each other chronologically and are mostly standalone so it shouldn't be a bother.

I've only read Fifteen Hours, which is pretty good, but Gunheads, Double Eagle and Cadian Blood are well liked. Official Links: SUPPORT GENERAL FAQ CHOICE FAQ DISCORDįirst tier is a mishmash of Imperial Guard novels.
